While lotions and creams can improve your skin from the outside, a healthy diet works from the inside out. A nutritious, balanced diet can do wonders for your skin.
A diet for a healthy body is the same for healthy clearer skin that is, one should contain lots of fresh fruits and vegetables, whole grains beans, nuts, and less of salt and sugar.
Healthy skin checklist
These are the essentials your body need to keep your skin in excellent condition:-
Water is the most essential element. Although there is water in the food like in oranges, tomatoes, cucumber you eat, but you should drink at least 8 glasses of water in a day to keep your body healthy and clear.
Good carbohydrates, also known as fiber foods have another less direct effect on the skin. Whole grain cereals are an excellent source of vitamin B and also provide the fibre that your body needs to stay healthy.
Zinc works with vitamin A in the making of collagen and elastin, the fibers that give your skin its elasticity, strength, and firmness. It is found in whole grains, milk cheese, yogurt, chickpeas, lentils beans.
You are what you eat. One should contain lots of fresh foods and vegetables, and food high in fiber, low in fat, and low in salt and sugar.so regular exercise and plenty of fresh air combined with a healthy diet will work wonders on your skin:)
